What we collect

  • Your name, phone number and email address when you contact us.
  • Your firearm make and model, and any light or optic, so we can make a correct fit.
  • Your delivery address when you place an order.
  • Business details if you apply for a trade account.
  • Our messages with you on WhatsApp or email, and records of orders and payments.

We do not store card details. This website has no accounts, checkout, analytics or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and confirm fit, price and delivery.
  • To make, deliver and support your order, including warranty claims.
  • To keep the records the law requires, such as tax records.
  • To set up and manage trade accounts.

We process your information because you asked us to, to perform our agreement with you, or to meet a legal obligation. We will only send you marketing if you agree to it, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, with:

  • Couriers, to deliver your order.
  • Our bank or payment provider, to process payment.
  • Service providers we use to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta) and Microsoft 365 for messages and email, and Vercel for website hosting. The website also loads fonts from Google.

We do not sell your information.

Information sent outside South Africa

Some of these providers store information on servers outside South Africa. We use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to deal with them, and order and tax records for the periods the law requires (generally five years). After that we delete or anonymise them.

How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information secure and to limit access to people who need it. If we become aware of a security breach that affects you, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it, and you may object to direct marketing. Contact our Information Officer with any request.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
